Farm Events
As the days get shorter and cooler it's a good time to connect with where our food comes from. October is harvest season in Placer County, and Sunday, October 14, 2007 is the day to take the family on a real farm outing.
Tour hosts will allow you to share a bit of their daily life on the farm. In addition to agricultural demonstrations, farm animals and farm equipment displays there will be hayrides, flyfishing, food and wine tasting, live music and dozens of artists demonstrating their craft. Your tickets will include a detailed map with directions and an activity list.
