2007 Placer Harvest Calendar

The Placer Harvest Calendar is a 13-month calendar featuring art-quality photographs of local farms and produce, taken as part of the Agricultural Marketing Program and the Placer Farm and Barn Tour. Each month lists local products available in markets and information on farmersí markets and agricultural events. Information on how to find the farmers and ranchers who grow the products, area farmersí markets and produce stores, agricultural festivals and tours are also included. The goal of the calendar is to encourage residents to buy local food and acquaint them with the farmers who grow it. | The calendar is a production of the University of California Cooperative Extension, Placer & Nevada Counties Horticulture & Small Farms Program. It is funded by a grant from the University of California Sustainable Agriculture (SAREP) Community Food Systems Project. Proceeds from sales will go toward continuing the project as well as supporting the Placer Farm and Barn Tour. | |
